Mission Statement
Dunboyne Senior Primary School is a Roman Catholic School (which is established in connection with the Minister) under the patronage of Bishop of Meath, Rev. Tom Deenihan.
The school aims at promoting the full and harmonious development of all aspects of the person of the pupil: intellectual, physical, cultural, moral and spiritual, including a living relationship with God and with other people. The school models and promotes a philosophy of life inspired by belief in God and in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Catholic school provides Religious education for the pupils in accordance with the doctrines, practices and tradition of the Roman Catholic Church and promotes the formation of the pupils in the Catholic Faith.
We aspire to create a happy, positive, caring and trusting atmosphere in our school. We endeavour to create an environment where cultural and religious diversity is respected. As parents are the primary educators of their children, we encourage communication and parental involvement based on mutual trust and understanding.
We work to ensure that our pupils will grow up in a healthy environment, helping them to develop skills, values, attitudes to cope with the challenges facing them in society.
The role of partnership involving Board of Management, parents, staff and pupils is acknowledged and supported.
